Educational Standards and Qualifications in Logistics

For a number of years ELA has recognised the need for vocational qualifications in logistics, especially for those in the workplace. Following an extensive survey in the manufacturing and service sectors, ELA obtained funding the „Force“ programme of the European Commission in Brussels, together with sponsorship and financial assistance from a number of national logistics associations. This has resulted in a set of standards, together with learning guides and assessment procedures, which are being introduced throughout Europe by ELA.
